Data controller

What data we collect

For abstract submission: title, abstract text, keywords, thematic category and type, and author details (name, affiliation, email). For reviewers: name, affiliation, email and account credentials.

Purpose and legal basis

We process this data solely to manage the submission, double-blind peer review and selection of abstracts for the conference. The legal basis is the legitimate interest of organising the scientific programme and, where applicable, the performance of your request to participate.

Who can see it

Reviews are double-blind: reviewers do not see author identities, and authors do not see reviewer identities. Author details are accessible only to the organising committee. Data is not sold or shared with third parties beyond the service providers needed to run the system (hosting and email delivery).

Retention

Submission and review data is kept for the duration of the conference cycle and archived afterwards for record-keeping, then deleted in line with AEIPI's retention policy.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to its processing, by contacting congreso2027@aeipi.org. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
